SVAW - Call Me By Their Names
2014-2026 Project in construction
SVAW (Stop Violence Against Women) - Call me by Their Names is a Investigative work in Progress performance that started in 2014 in Portugal and after moving to Sweden was hibernating only to rewake in 2024 with regained energy. Its goal is to give voice to the victims of Femicide and expose + intervene for change.
After our last presentation in Paris on March26, with a version that engaged and physically included the audience, we are preparing a new version with laboratories for survivors and students using a fusion between Anarita's methodology and Mariana Araoz's In Balance Method. After this, again applying real data from victims and testimonies from survivors, we will co-create a new performance including professionals and people from the labs from Portugal, France, Sweden and Spain.
